My goal is to ensure that everyone who enters feels valued and included. In return, I expect all lab members to uphold these same values. Together, we aim to create a positive and productive atmosphere. I view my connection with students and postdocs as a trustworthy partnership. I do not have strict guidelines concerning work hours and holidays. However, I do hope that all lab members will work diligently, treat one another with respect, and remain open to hearing different perspectives and ideas.

To be an excellent researcher, one needs determination, integrity, high dedication, perseverance, and ambition. I value individuals who are free of mental barriers, such as cultural and gender biases.
I admire open-minded researchers who are eager to contribute to the advancement of science and society. Open-mindedness involves actively seeking evidence that challenges one's beliefs, plans, or goals and evaluating such evidence objectively.

I am in search of highly motivated candidates with a biology background.
The ideal candidate should be capable of working in a team and open to short research training in other laboratories, including abroad.

As the person in charge, I have several responsibilities that I need to fulfill. These include securing funding, coming up with project ideas, and interpreting results. I also make sure to proofread any manuscripts before submission. I hold weekly meetings to keep track of progress and identify any challenges that need to be addressed. Lastly, I maintain a strong network of collaborations with experts in the field to help the lab members achieve their career goals.

As a lab member, you are expected to:
- Attend regular progress/pitfalls meetings and provide updates on your progress and goals via email afterward.
- Write and submit manuscripts under my supervision.
- Proofread manuscripts written by other lab members.
- Contribute to applying for external funding.
- Keep a detailed set of lab notes, including directories of data and methods used.
- Assist in maintaining lab instruments and common areas.
- Participate in talk rehearsals with your colleagues.
- Share new ideas, suggest potential collaborations, and stay up-to-date with the lab's literature and topics of interest.

As a scientist, I feel lucky to have the best job in the world and hope to inspire future generations.
